Friends Home Chapel Service
Knox's outreach ministry includes a monthly chapel service at a local nursing home.
Usually this service is on the second Thursday of each month at Friends Nursing Home in Sandy Spring, MD. the chapel service is from 11:00 to 11:30 AM, and involves a number of familiar hymns, prayer, and a short message from the Bible.
This is a word and deed ministry: we declare the love of God in the context of the service of worship, and demonstrate the love of God through visiting and interacting with the residents. Often this group includes young children, whose presence is especially appreciated by the members of the nursing home community! Click for map
